After the Research

Happiness, anger, sadness or frustration?  I can't decide which emotion I can attribute these feelings inside of my body to.  Researching was not hard and it wasn't unpleasant but I didn't have so much fun writing the actual paper.  I was filled with wonderful information and couldn't answer the questions from my husband with an incredible rate of knowledge.  But how to get it all done on paper? My mind stuttered and sputtered and ultimately failed until the adrenaline triggered by procrastination faithfully kicked in.

I LOVED researching, I researched and pondered and prayed (yes I actually did) to be able to get this paper done and to do it correctly.  I had a lot of knowledge by the time my researching was complete but I failed in the way of being able to get it down on paper the way that I wanted to.  Too much research was completed and a lack of writing is going to hurt my grade on this paper.  When it was all said and done the overall experience was a learning and enjoyable one.

Next time I will definitely pace my self much earlier with the actual writing and research as I go.

  1. I feel like researching always takes me way longer to do than actually writing the paper. Pacing is something I struggle with when it comes to writing papers. If you come up with any good tips, let me know!
